Empire Touring…

Empire Touring was established and is run by the Vibe Creator, Marc Christowski, who like Bruce Springsteen, is never one to run out of energy. Marc started his career in the 80’s as a band photographer, even winning the RAM Magazine Rock Photo competition, and shooting record sleeves for great Aussie acts including Cold Chisel, Radio Birdman, Moving Pictures and many more. He quickly made his way up the ranks, from illegally pole postering Sydney (don’t worry he was only arrested once!) to promoting bands in iconic gigs. Marc’s personal highlights would have to be - Bowie at the Tivoli, 3 sellouts in a row for Hunters and Collectors at Selinas, The Ramones and Sid Vicious at the The Venue, Chisel at the Blue Gum, Faith No More at the Caringbah Inn and Meatloaf at Waves in Wollongong.

When the pub rock scene slowed down, it was time to embrace disco! Massive suburban beer halls were transformed in to thumping night clubs that became legendary. Club Troppo and Sweethearts led the charge.

The 2000’s saw another change in direction. A number of successful partnerships emerged to promote and market tours by legendary artists including Fleetwood Mac, INXS, Pavarotti, KISS, The Pretenders, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Bocelli and many more.

In recent times, along with General Manager, Isobel Lanesman, Empire Touring has concentrated on reenergising many of the acts with whom they worked in the 80’s and 90’s, creating the highly successful festival brands, Sunset Sounds, Spring Loaded, Pure Gold Live, Rock At The Races and Classic Hits Live. These events have consistently sold out across the country.
